Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Today is Mother's Day how was all the mommies out there Mother's Day? Mine has been pretty good. I woke up before everyone but still slept in which was very nice. I didn't have to work so that was even better. Then Lex got up and immediately told me Happy Mother's Day! I woke up to tons of texts from everyone telling me to have a happy Mother's Day I really appreciated that and felt special. My brother called me and wished me a great day and sent me more flowers. Then my hubby got up and gave me my present a big frame with pictures he put in of all of us including the fur babies, and my card that read on the 1st page "To my amazing wife, I don't know where we'd be without you, but I do know one thing" then the inside read, "It wouldn't be pretty Happy Mother's Day!" It was a pink card with a husband and wife with bulldog heads on the front and kids with bulldog heads making a mess on the inside. It was definitely the perfect card for me. We then cleaned up the house and went to brunch at the Original Pancake House man they are the best breakfast place in the world! It was surprisingly not busy which is a rarity since every time I have ever been there the line is out the door. The buffet next door was packed with lines that actually went around the corner and I have never seen that at that buffet, they must have had some type of special going on. But in my opinion no buffet is worth waiting over an hour to get inside the door. We then picked up some money that was owed to me and came home and here I am. 

Since I woke up this morning everyone has been very friendly. I walked the dog and I had 2 people stop me and talk to me. One stopped to ask about my dog and told me about his. The other was cleaning his car and talked to me about tire shine products. (yes I know about cars, I'm a women of many hats lol) Then at the store the women was very sweet and talked to me like I was a friend it was nice. It seems like everyone is just going at a slower pace and not rushing to get everywhere while being rude and missing life's little joys today. I'm hoping it continues through the day.
